Gaynell Anderson, Owner, PTGaynell has been practicing physical therapy in SW Florida for 20 years, working under Angela and Greg Collins, founders of Suncoast Rehabilitation and Aquatics. Gaynell believes that an integrated team approach to patient care and patient education are key to patient's return to a healthy lifestyle enjoyed by those living in beautiful southwest Florida. She has attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, and Daemen College in New York to earn her Bachelor's degree in physical therapy. Gaynell has studied manual therapies under Ola Grimsbey (Post-professional, advanced education for practicing physical therapists), John Barnes, (Internationally recognized physical therapist, lecturer, author and authority on Myofascial Release, and President and Director of the Myofascial Release Treatment Centers and National Myofascial Release Seminars located in Paoli, Pennsylvania, and Sedona, Arizona) and Stanley Paris (the Founding President and Chairman of the Board of the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences). Gaynell is currently pursuing her Doctorate in manual therapy at the University of St. Augustine. Her experience includes treatment for neurologic, orthopedic, rheumatic, pediatric, & soft tissue injuries.
Michael Carroll, PTAMichael has been working in physical therapy and sports medicine since 1995. Michael graduated from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA with his Bachelor's degree in athletic training, and earned his Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, CO. His experiences range from treatment of the geriatric population, to rehabilitation of professional athletes. Michael has strong interest in orthopedics and sports, and has recently received his certification for training and treatment of professional golfers.
Veronica RodriguezVeronica has been in the Bonita Springs area for the past 35 years. In 1997 she graduated with an Associates Degree in Business Health Administration from Southwest College in Ft Myers, Florida. In 2000 she got her medical coding certification from Edison Community College. Veronica continues to educate herself by attending insurance seminars in order to stay up to date with current guidelines and regulations for various insurance companies. She has been working with insurances and related issues for over 12 years. In addition to her understanding of medical coding, and insurances Veronica also speaks fluent spanish. Veronica is spending her life enjoying her three boys, Leo, Edgar and Todd. They are her inspiration in life.
Yesenia RodriguezYesenia was born in Cuba and moved to the United States when she was 7 years old. She graduated from Golden Gate High School in 2005. Yesenia is currently attending Edison Community College and is in the process of earning an Associates Degree in Science. Upon completion of her degree she plans to pursue a career in the field of Radiology. In addition to her business responsibilities as an administrative assistant, Yesi also has experience and enjoys the clinical side of physical therapy and assisting therapist with patients as a physical therapy aid. |
